What we collect

When you use CoverageAI, we collect:

• Your email address — to deliver your coverage report
• Your payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• Your screenplay PDF — uploaded for analysis only

What happens to your screenplay

This is the part screenwriters care about most, so we'll be specific:

• Your PDF is uploaded to our server over an encrypted HTTPS connection
• It is passed to OpenAI's GPT-4o API for analysis — the same model used by millions of professionals worldwide
• No human at CoverageAI ever reads your script. Zero human access at any stage.
• The moment analysis is complete, your file is permanently deleted from our server
• We do not retain a copy. We do not back it up. It is gone.

AI training

Your script is never used to train any AI model — not ours, not OpenAI's. OpenAI's API terms explicitly prohibit using API inputs for model training. Your work does not improve any AI system.

Copyright and ownership

You retain 100% ownership of your screenplay at all times. Submitting your script to CoverageAI grants us no rights, licenses, or claims to your work. We are a service provider, not a creative partner.

What we keep

We keep a copy of the coverage report (not your script) for up to 30 days in case of delivery issues. After 30 days it is automatically deleted. We also keep basic transaction records (email, date, amount) as required for accounting.

Stripe payments

All payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. We never see your card number, expiry, or CVV. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of your payment data.

Your rights

You can request deletion of any data we hold about you at any time by emailing david@davidapex.com. We'll respond within 48 hours.
